Cyber Security Department is responsible for implementing and maintaining organization-wide data and system security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures. They should provide security awareness education and ensure that everyone knows his or her role in maintaining security. The Department has started a Program in B. Tech Cyber Security with an intake of 60 from the academic year 2022-23. Cyber Security creates awareness training is important as it protects an organization from cyber-attacks on the system resulting in data breaches. The primary focus is the prevention of such incidents that lead to loss of brand reputation and financial losses as well. The main objective of cyber security is to protect organizations from cyber threats and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their data and systems.
The key objective of cyber security department is to impact knowledge to the students so that they can meet the challenging demands of the IT industry and do their research in the security services. Department is also well equipped with an incubation center where students have a great opportunity to work on their creative abilities to develop own projects in real time environment. Through this program, students can equip with emerging technologies in cyber security and master in latest skills required by the Industry, research works and Society.
It gives me immense pleasure to lead the department of CSE-CS. Our college is one of the premiere Autonomous institution in Guntur, unique like a prism reflecting the manifold shades of learning and co-curricular activities. With state of Art laboratories, highly skilled staff members adopting innovative teaching methodologies are continuously striving for the betterment of student community. Department has strong Research & Development centre which provides great strength to students for implementing their ideas and make them a reality.
Department has a very unique approach to bridge the gap between academics and industry requirement and in the process has partnered with many MNC’s for skill development. Department is also well equipped with an R&D Lab where students have a great opportunity to work on their creative abilities to develop own projects in real time environment.
