About Mechanical Engineering

The B.Tech Mechanical programme (4 years), started in the year 2012, and is one of the preferred undergraduate programme by the innovative students. With a right blend of theory and practice in basics such as mechanics, design of machines, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, advancements in CAD/CAM, Finite Element Analysis, Thermal Engineering and Pneumatics, this programme has well laid itself as a prominent option for the students.

The objective of this programme is to mould students by coupling theoretical knowledge imparted in class, with laboratory practical in institute and visits to industry, thereby boosting skills to-be engineers.

  • Function effectively as civil engineering professionals in industry, government or other organizations, designing, improving, leading and implementing efficient civil engineering practices.
  • Provide solutions to engineering problems that account for economical, environmental, ethical, and societal considerations as well as professional standards, by applying acquired engineering knowledge.
  • Apply their broad civil engineering education to effectively communicate civil engineering concepts orally and in written forms. .Utilize formal and informal learning opportunities to maintain and enhance technical, personal and professional growth.

ENGINEERING KNOWLEDGE: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
