About Electrical & Electronics Engineering

The Dept. offers B Tech course incorporating the essential aspects of electric power generation, transmission, distribution & utilization, measurement systems, electrical machines, control system, electronic device etc. The graduates of electrical & electronics have great opportunities in the fields of maintenance engineers in power system, design engineers in the manufacture of electronic equipments,etc. “The department started undergraduate program in the year 2008 with an Intake of 60. Post graduate program in the specialization of Power system control and automation engineering in the year 2012.The department is also offering Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.” The EEE department has been established with the firm commitment of developing and producing quality Electrical and Electronic Engineers with high-technical knowledge and good practical basis, combined with leadership skills and decision making capabilities.

The courses for undergraduate program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering comprise of eight semesters with six courses per semester. These courses typically include electrical machines, power systems, power electronics, control systems, analog and digital communication systems and digital signal processing. Along with technical courses, management and communication courses are also a part of the curriculum so as to acquaint the students with the professional ethics.


To groom the department into a centre of excellence in electrical technology through innovative academic and research practices carve the youth as dynamic competent, socially conscious, and knowledgeable professionals that are emotionally balanced, psychologically strong and inter nationally acceptable world class technocrats
